Greg Warman

Chief Executive Officer & Responsible Officer

Greg Warman is an experienced and driven Company Director with a passion for education. His duties encompass Chairmanship of the Board, Chief Executive and Responsible Officer (Ofqual/CCEA), and VetSkill SQP Registrar (Veterinary Medicines Directorate). He spent 41 years in Banking specialising in Agriculture and Horticulture prior to joining VetSkill in 2015. Greg is keen to develop qualifications that meet the needs of VetSkill clients maintaining its mission of “providing qualifications that inspire success.”


Sam Double

Director of Operations

Sam is highly experienced in education and assessment having been a senior leader in the AO and EPAO sector for a number of years, and a lecturer and Head of Department in several Further and Higher Education institutions across a number of subject areas. As Director of Operations, Sam leads and manages the operation of VetSkill’s Awarding Organisation and End-Point Assessment and leads the Qualifications, Operations, End-Point Assessment and Development and Standards Managers. Sam is passionate about advancing education and assessment and ensuring that VetSkill provide an inspirational range of qualifications and end point assessments.


Claire Kent

Standards Manager

Claire is an experienced veterinary nurse with extensive quality assurance involvement. With a career as a Registered Veterinary Nurse for over 30 years, including Head Nurse of a referral practice and Practice Manager, Claire has a wide breadth of leadership and management skills. Claire has a proven track record of leading quality assurance and improvement as Head of Centre for two veterinary nursing centres, with Lead IQA, Programme Manager and Chief OSCE Examiner responsibilities across FE and HE provision of veterinary nursing and associated qualifications.

Claire has overall responsibility for managing VetSkill’s quality assurance strategy. Incorporating operational implementation, audit and review of quality assurance processes. With a team of External Quality Assurers, Claire works with potential and existing centres to develop their processes and procedures to maintain high quality standards and to drive a culture of continuous improvement.


Nadine Thomson

Operations Manager

Nadine is an experienced Business and Operations manager who has worked within the public sector and further education for nearly 20 years. As our Operations Manager, Nadine oversees all the operational functions of the VetSkill business and has a particular interest in business processes and procedures.

Prior to her managerial career Nadine’s worked in the Animal Care industry enjoying many years involved in Animal Rescue and she continues to be an animal welfare advocate who loves to spend time with her dogs Bert and Watson.


Ryan Girling

End-Point Assessment and Development Manager

Ryan has an extensive background in Product Development, including regulated provision and apprenticeship standards. Having worked for small and large awarding bodies and end-point assessment organisations, Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Ryan has overall responsibility for any new Product Developments along with any potential new business. Ryan is passionate about ensuring that VetSkill provides a growing variety of qualifications and end-point assessments providing growth to the business.
