Scarsdale to showcase diversity of vet nurse roles

Scarsdale Vets is set to showcase the role of veterinary nurses at its Pride Veterinary Centre in Derby.

The event aims not only to raise awareness of veterinary nursing as a career option, but also to demonstrate the roles available for qualified RVNs looking to join Scarsdale Vets.

Insight

Taking place at Pride Veterinary Centre on Tuesday 18 September, between 6pm and 8pm, attendees will be given an insight into the different disciplines and opportunities available for nurses at Scarsdale Vets, plus the chance to talk with existing members of the team about what it’s like to be a veterinary nurse at the organisation.

There will be a variety of stalls showcasing the different disciplines Scarsdale’s veterinary nurses work across, including:

  • In-patient care
  • ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
  • Medicine
  • Oncology
  • Theatre
  • Imaging
  • Neurology
  • Surgery
  • Ophthalmology
  • Rotating discipline nurses (staff rotate across a range of disciplines)
