VN animal Champion awarded

An RVN who had dedicated  her life to helping animals in need has been named Blue Cross British Vet Nurse of the Year.

The charity presented the award to Tyrina Gibson, who has been a VN for a decade and has worked at Newcastle PDSA Pet Hospital for four years. Those who nominated her described as “inspirational” a champion for animals, and someone with extensive knowledge and commitment. Mrs Gibson was presented her award by Blue Cross Clinical Director Mr Catlow as part of the BVNA congress.
