Standards Officer

We are delighted to be expanding and able to offer an additional position for Standards Officer working alongside our existing Standards Officers and Coordinators, maintaining our high standards of quality. The Standards Officer will be integral to maintaining VetSkill’s internal quality assurance processes and will review and assist with writing policies and procedures and a variety of Awarding Organisation and End-Point Assessment Organisation functions including reviewing reasonable adjustments, enquiries and conflict of interest, and liaising with centres.

Applicants should have excellent communication skills, thrive on attention to detail and be looking for an opportunity in a fast growing Awarding Organisation and End-Point Assessment Organisation. Experience in a quality assurance role and a pro-active approach to continuous improvement are essential. All processes will need to comply with regulatory body conditions so experience complying with regulatory body conditions is desirable.

This is a full-time role, but part-time will be considered, predominantly working from home. All IT equipment is supplied.

Quality Assurance Officer

Work alongside our Standards team and External Quality Assurers, to maintain our high levels of customer service and support to our centres. The Quality Assurance Officer will be integral to centre and qualification approvals, from initial meetings with potential new centres, to the ongoing support of existing centres. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to problem solve through research. A variety of systems are used and an ability to understand new systems quickly is essential. A pro-active approach to making processes more efficient will be highly valued.

Product Developer

We are recruiting a Product Developer to support the development of new qualifications, and assessments for end point assessment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of qualification and end-point assessment development.

Applicants should have strong knowledge of quality assurance processes as well as strong leadership and communication skills. This is primarily a remote working role, with occasional visits to our head office in Cambridgeshire when required.

External Quality Assurers

Our team of External Quality Assurers carry out the key role of quality monitoring our recognised centres against VetSkill’s and regulatory requirements as well as carrying out approval visits to potential new customers. External Quality Assurers are often the main point of contact between a centre and VetSkill and will be the main provider of support and guidance. EQA’s play a key role in the establishment of excellent practical working relationships between VetSkill and its centres and due to significant growth VetSkill are seeking to appoint an EQA to cover the Midlands and East Anglia areas. This will be a home-based role with a requirement to complete centre-based visits on a regular basis with an occasional requirement to attend our Huntingdon head office. This is a permanent full-time position, however part-time applications will be considered.

As this role will predominantly be supporting centres delivering Veterinary Nursing and Animal Welfare qualifications we are looking to appoint a Registered Veterinary Nurse, or MRCVS, with extensive industry experience as well as internal quality assurance experience. Although previous EQA experience and qualifications are advantageous more important is an excellent understanding of veterinary nursing education and a willingness to complete an EQA qualification if required.

VetSkill Remote Invigilator

We are delighted to offer flexible positions for Remote Assessment Invigilators. Applicants should have integrity, excellent written communication skills and thrive on attention to detail. Successful applicants must be able to produce clear and professional reports. This role will be conducted from the applicant’s home so a good Wi-Fi connection and reliable IT equipment is essential. This role supports flexible working within the timeframes for production of reports. Previous experience is desirable but not essential and full training will be provided.
