External Quality Assurers

VetSkill is an Ofqual and CCEA approved awarding organisation, IfATE and ESFA approved End-Point Assessment Organisation, and professional regulatory body. Our mission is to provide qualifications, assessments and regulation that inspire success. VetSkill have a growing portfolio of qualifications and End-Point Assessment for Apprenticeship Standards on offer to organisations and employers. VetSkill aims to provide a high level of support to our increasing number of approved centres.

Our team of External Quality Assurers carry out the key role of quality monitoring our recognised centres against VetSkill’s and regulatory requirements as well as carrying out approval visits to potential new customers. External Quality Assurers are often the main point of contact between a centre and VetSkill and will be the main provider of support and guidance. EQAs play a key role in the establishment of excellent practical working relationships between VetSkill and its centres and due to significant growth VetSkill are seeking to appoint a permanent EQA to support centres in the southern half of England and Wales. This a home-based role with a requirement to complete centre-based visits on a regular basis with an occasional requirement to attend our Huntingdon Head Office. There is the potential to consider part-time/job share for the right applicant.

As this role will predominantly be supporting centres delivering Veterinary Nursing and Animal Welfare qualifications we are looking to appoint a Registered Veterinary Nurse, or MRCVS, with extensive industry experience as well as quality assurance experience. Although previous EQA experience and qualifications are advantageous more important is an excellent understanding of veterinary nursing education and a willingness to complete an EQA qualification if required.
