Are you organised, proactive and great with people? We are looking for an Administrator to join our friendly and fast‑paced central operations team based in Huntingdon.
What you’ll do:
You are responsible for keeping centre, provider, and learner information up to date in VetSkill systems and for coordinating a range of administrative processes. This includes managing registrations, gateway administration, assessment and EPA bookings/results, onboarding support, and invoicing through SAGE. You also handle queries from centres and training providers, responding directly or directing them to the appropriate VetSkill team.
General administration responsibilities will include:
Provide general administrative support, including handling enquiries, phones, and document processing (scanning, filing, photocopying, archiving).
Assist with meeting room setup, catering, and greeting visitors.
Maintain and update documents, manage multiple shared email accounts, and organise postage/collections.
Support other VetSkill departments and assist with SQP administration as needed.
You should have:
Proven administrative experience in a busy environment
Experience in using Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; SharePoint) with the ability to learn new systems quickly
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise tasks and manage workload independently
Professional, reliable, and discreet, with a positive approach to work
Desirable attributes:
Experience using SAGE or working with invoicing processes is ideal but not essential.
Holds a Level 2 qualification in Administration, Customer Service, IT, or a related discipline.
Experience working within a regulated environment, such as finance, education, healthcare, or other compliance‑driven sectors.

This role is fully office-based working at our Head Office in Huntingdon – PE29 6FY working 37.5 hours per week working 8.30am to 4.30pm – Monday to Friday.
Please note there will be a requirement to support with a weekend cover on a rota (approx. 6 times a year).
