Bicton College of The Cornwall College Group has received approval to deliver the VetSkill Level 2 Diploma in Patient Care Assistance, further expanding its VetSkill provision and strengthening its veterinary nursing training offer.

VetSkill is delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of three Level 3 Animal Care and Welfare Managerapprentices supported by The College of Animal Welfare (CAW), all of whom have achieved Distinction grades.

VetSkill is pleased to announce the launch of a new suite of Level 3 assessor qualifications, marking the organisation’s expansion into assessor training for the Further Education (FE) sector.

VetSkill has launched a new Ofqual‑regulated Level 2 qualification designed to support learners developing the foundational knowledge required for further study and careers within veterinary, animal and equine sectors.

VetSkill is proud to celebrate an excellent achievement by Bath College, which has been ranked 3rd in the UK for Level 3 Veterinary Nursing apprenticeships, based on a 91.3% achievement rate in the 2023–24 academic year.

We are thrilled to share that VetSkill has been accredited by Qualifications Scotland Accreditation to offer four more approved qualifications, further strengthening our offering to providers and learners across Scotland.

As Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs) approach the final stage of their training journey - the OSCE - it is completely natural for this milestone to bring a mixture of excitement, anticipation, and nerves. Preparing students for this moment is never the responsibility of one organisation alone. It is the result of close collaboration between training providers and awarding organisations.

We are pleased to announce VetSkill is partnering with Derby College Group (DCG) to deliver apprenticeship assessment for three key land-based apprenticeship standards.
