Farrier Apprentices to be assessed by VetSkill in a matter of weeks!

VetSkill is proud to announce that it has now received approval from both the Farrier Registration Council (FRC) and Ofqual to deliver the End Point Assessment (EPA) for the Level 3 Farrier (ST0172) Apprenticeship Standard.

 

Those Apprentices that are ready for assessment can now pass through the apprenticeship gateway and be booked by their college’s for assessment with VetSkill. The first round of EPA’s will take place at Myerscough College and Warwickshire College in mid-January with Herefordshire, Ludlow and North Shropshire College following shortly after.

We would also like to thank the three training providers and the assessor team for working closely with us to achieve this.”

 

VetSkill are well known in the animal welfare and veterinary sector particularly for providing professionally regulated EPA’s, such as the RCVS approved Level 3 Veterinary Nurse Apprenticeship Standard.  They are also approved by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate to hold a register of Suitably Qualified Persons who are qualified to act as Animal Medicine Advisors.  VetSkill offer a range of qualifications and EPA’s in the animal care and welfare arena including equine, dog grooming, canine preventative dental care, animal care, veterinary care and are now very proud to add farriery.
