RCVS Standards Framework for Veterinary Nurse Training Consultation

Just a gentle reminder for all of our veterinary colleagues out there.  In February the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) circulated communication to all registered professionals, regarding the launch of their latest consultation with the sector.  They have invited views and feedback on the latest version of the Standards Framework for Veterinary Nurse Training.  This important update of the standards framework contains major changes relating to sustainability; academic integrity; assessment and moderation processes.

The deadline for responding to the consultation is Wednesday 03rd April 2024.  VetSkill intend to share their views on the framework with our approved veterinary nursing centres by Monday 25th March 2024.  Whether you work within an FE or HE institution; training practice; or as individual registered professionals, VetSkill would urge all those involved in veterinary nursing education to take the opportunity to contribute their perspectives.
