CVTC approved to deliver VetSkill VTEC Level 4 Award for Animal Medicines Advisors (SQP - Companion Animal)
Exciting news! Chester Veterinary Training Centre (CVTC) has been approved to deliver the VetSkill VTEC Level 4 Award for Animal Medicines Advisors (SQP - Companion Animal).
It has been a pleasure working with the team at CVTC on their journey towards approval of this qualification. We are proud to already be offering a number of our qualifications at the centre, including: VetSkill Level 2 Certificate in Veterinary Care Support, VetSkill VTEC Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Companion Animal), VetSkill Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Practice Nurse), and VetSkill VTEC Level 5 Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Emergency and Critical Care).
Now, CVTC has added another VetSkill qualification to its portfolio for delivery. The VetSkill VTEC Level 4 Award for Animal Medicines Advisors (SQP - Companion Animal) is designed for the training and development of learners wishing to gain the necessary qualification to be able to prescribe and supply veterinary medicine classes POM-VPS and/or NFA-VPS to companion animals.
Jackie Evans, Head of Centre at CVTC, commented:
“We are delighted to continue working with VetSkill and offer this L4 Animal Medicines course, complementing the other VetSkill courses we offer. This allows us to offer a range of Level 2 to Level 5 qualifications, providing accessibility to a variety of learners”.
The VetSkill Quality Assurance Team, added:
“We are grateful to have worked closely with the team at CVTC on securing approval for delivery of the new VetSkill VTEC Level 4 Award for Animal Medicines Advisors (SQP-Companion Animal). The team’s commitment to offering accessible regulated qualifications across a growing portfolio demonstrates the CVTC commitment to ensuring high-quality education opportunities for both those in the veterinary and animal related industries. We extend a warm congratulations to the team on their approval and wish them every success as they welcome learners onto the programme”.
CVTC is a VetSkill approved training provider with three centres in Chester in the Northwest of England, Dereham in Norfolk and Harrogate in North Yorkshire, who have been training student veterinary nurses since 2009.
