Lead Independent End-Point Assessor (LIEPA) (Pharmacy)

VetSkill is seeking an experienced Lead Independent End-Point Assessor (LIEPA) to support the delivery of high-quality, fair, and consistent assessments for Pharmacy apprenticeship standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Pharmacy Technician with assessor and IQA experience who is passionate about maintaining professional standards and developing others.

About the role

As a Lead IEPA, you will:

  • Guide, support, and quality-assure Independent Assessors.

  • Review assessment materials and ensure compliance with assessment plans.

  • Deliver training and lead standardisation activities.

  • Conduct internal quality assurance and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Maintain the security, integrity, and confidentiality of assessment materials.

  • Liaise with training providers, employers, and regulatory bodies.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with the GPhC.

  • Holds assessor and IQA qualifications.

  • Knowledgeable about apprenticeship delivery and the pharmacy sector.

  • Confident in leading people and providing constructive feedback.

  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to work independently.

  • Professional, supportive, and committed to upholding high assessment standards.

Join our team of assessors, visiting apprentices in their workplace and assessing them to check they have the necessary skills for the job.

This is a flexible role based on a zero-hour contract and can be undertaken alongside other work commitments. In return for your expertise, we offer training, guidance and ongoing support for you to carry out the role effectively.
