The equine groom is committed to the safety and welfare of the horses in their care. They will use their theoretical knowledge, understanding, practical experience, and empathy to maintain the horse's physical and psychological wellbeing within a safe working environment. They are an integral part of the horse's life, providing essential day-to-day care.   

Occupational routes for this apprenticeship include: 

  • Breeding

  • Driving

  • Racing

  • Riding

  • Non-riding
