Assessment methods:

The apprentice will be observed completing work as part of their normal duties. Additional questions will be asked as part of the assessment to allow them to demonstrate their Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) in a normal work environment.
Duration: 3 hours
Location: The workplace
Graded: Fail / Pass / Distinction

This is a structured discussion between the apprentice and the independent assessor and provides an opportunity for the apprentice to demonstrate their Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs). The apprentice will refer to their portfolio to assist with providing examples of their experience.
Duration: 75 minutes
Location: A suitable location, usually the employer’s premises
Graded: Fail / Pass / Distinction
