South Staffordshire College approved for FIVE more VetSkill qualifications
South Staffordshire College is celebrating a ground-breaking achievement, having now been approved to deliver FIVE VetSkill qualifications in 2026 onwards:
VetSkill Level 2 Award in Principles of First Aid for Cats and Dogs
VetSkill VTEC Level 4 Award for Animal Medicines Advisors (SQP – Companion Animal)
VetSkill Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Practice Nurse)
This is an exciting milestone for the college, which has been a VetSkill approved centre since 2020, providing the VetSkill VTEC Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Companion Animal) and VetSkill Level 2 Certificate in Veterinary Care Support.
These approvals represent the continued strengthening of the partnership between South Staffordshire College and VetSkill and reinforce the college’s role as a key provider of VetSkill pathways.
Victoria Dallaway, Veterinary Programme Lead & Head of Centre at South Staffordshire College (pictured with team above), expresses:
“We are thrilled to have gained approval to deliver a wide range of new courses. As a centre, we are always striving to excel and enhance the quality of our delivery, while meeting the expectations of the industry we serve. Securing approval for such a large number of programmes was a challenging process, but working with VetSkill made it so much simpler. Kiera and the team have been incredible, providing outstanding support every step of the way.”
Kiera Lawthers, Quality Assurance Officer at VetSkill, adds:
“We are delighted to have worked closely with Vicky and the wider team at South Staffordshire College to expand their provision through securing approval for the delivery of further qualifications from the VetSkill portfolio. This achievement is a testament to their vision and commitment to learners in enabling access to high-quality qualifications, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact these qualifications will bring to both learners and employers. We extend a warm congratulations to the team on this milestone achievement and wish them every success as they begin welcoming learners onto the programmes.”
Huge congratulations to the college on this milestone. We are so delighted to continue our partnership.
